IMPERIAL COLLEGE VISIT TO WHITEWEBBS 10 JUNE 2025
We were joined today by 3 members of Imperial College Royal School of Mines and their mascot, a 1926 Morris T-type known as ‘Clementine Morris’.
Despite being 2 hours late due to difficulties in negotiating the hills of North London (!) they were able to park up next to our own Morris Commercial, KP 8800, for a photo opportunity before they went off to explore our site.
We were fortunate to be able to have Madeleine running on their arrival which they, as engineers, all found most interesting with many questions for Colin Spong.
The School undertake all their own maintenance on the Morris as well as on their 1916 Dennis N-type fire engine ’Jezebel’ (which they had hoped to bring until it suffered a mechanical breakage the day before).
A return visit is planned, with several more vehicles.
