"We brought our 2 grandsons to the museum today, it was our first visit. Both boys aged 4 and 6 are huge transport fans and go to many many events and museums with their parents but today appears to be the first time the youngest cried when it was time to leave, the miniature railway being the most popular with him. What a fantastic discovery of a hidden gem not to mention every member of staff appeared to LOVE their job and had lots of time and shared lots of information, super friendly staff from start to finish, we loved our first visit thank you"
"This place is a hidden gem. Plenty to see, very helpful staff who are more than willing to explain the exhibits. If you like old cars, motorbikes and model railways then this is the place. I need to make a return visit, one day is not long enough. Good for all ages."

"This is a wonderful museum that's off the beaten path and absolutely worth a visit when open. Several floors of the pumping station are chock-full of old cars, motorcycles, toys and who knows what else. The place is an absolute labour of love. Even more than that there are sheds outside, further vehicles, blueprints, diagrams and more than you can take in. It's a great place to come with your kids and the volunteers are just so nice and enthusiastic. You can even get a bite to eat and a cup of tea. A hidden gem."
